Oh. Different than what I have (the ones I have are similar in style though so I assume it comes from the same dude). I have one from the series that focuses on artillery and heavy weapons (it has railway guns, field guns, self-propelled, AA systems mobile and static, anti-tank weapons, and a few others). I also have one on WWII planes.

Why not just explain that it is the Black Widow II / YF-23. It lost out to the F-22 for the ATF contract, thus it never really became an advanced tactical fighter, thus undeserving of the title.

I wouldn't say that. Sure the plane never entered production, the the 2 aircraft that did fly are second only to the Raptor. I mean, the YF-23 could supercruise, by all accounts is more stealthy than the Raptor, and was able to fire weapons. The only thing keeping it from being the best fighter ever made is the F-22.

No. It was the price. But it never did become a fighter. The two were prototypes, never intended for combat use unless accepted, which they were not.

They're looking at the YF-23 as a strike bomber to supplement the B-1 fleet.

How do you qualify a Fighter? Does it have to fire a shot in anger in order to earn that designation? Just because only two prototypes were made does not keep it from being a fighter. It was designed from the landing gear up as a stealthy air superiority platform, that doesn't make it a bomber or a transport, it makes it a fighter.

Edit: Here's the topic in question, give it a look see if you want.

A big, badass tank. You all showed my favourites (B-2, blackbird, big gunz) The T-28 isn't very sexy, but big.

And my favourite plane (aside of F117):

The beauty armed with everything from bottom to top. Loadout can include simple bombs (lazy for details), cluster bombs, maverick missiles which simply tear armor without mercy, AIM-9 missiles, AA machinegun, rocket pods and of course THE GAU (18 maybe?) MACHINEGUN! This thing is an armored deathbringer.
