the faq mentions that eventualy there will be new missions / campaign.

in the spirit of being retro after the release TFD hw about conversions of some of the original C&C's missions? or some of the covert ops missions. iam not asking for direct clones just definitive simularities.

i think every C&C player would get a kick out of replaying some of the more famous old school missions.

Wouldnt be too bad to be honest, but I dont think it will suit it with shockwave units.
Actually only the first general would really suit it, too many units and differences IMO to actually make this work.

How about GLA launching big rockets to shoot down USA's particle satellite, kinda like in NOD last mission in TS...

We already had a Mission-Suggestions-Thread long ago.
To make clear what ideas we already have, I'll post the Link of the old one.
Please don't post there, just see what's been discussed and state your oppinions and thoughts in THIS thread.

Which one do you mean, Waris? ;)

Btw, there is no restriction that says that we must talk about campaign-missions.
There could also be some unique, independant ShW-missions which you can play in Skirmish-Mode. Only that they aren't normal skirmish, they have mission-objectives and cutscenes... ;)

I love the forest missions, and the dam, too. And lest not forget the Cuban ones ;) But be warned tho, forests in ZH is so gay, if they're dense enough, blaze one part of them, it'll end up on another... ;)

And for independent mission, I like a 2v1 one, like Tank and Infantry general ties up to take on Armor Gen....

Sounds good. Even if you let out the Inf-Gen, Tank versus Armor would still be the mother of all battles.

Concerning those stand-alone missions in general, they could also be China against USA since there's no need to keep the original campaign-storyline...

BF2 gives some nice ideas for "USA vs. China"-scenarios, like China has taken over Wake Island and the US have to retake it...with support of an Aircraft-carrier. "Gulf of Oman", "Strike at Karkand" or "Sharqi Peninsula" would also look good as Generals-missions, if you know what I'm talking about ;)

USMC vs. MEC? Islands? You mean "Operation Clean Sweep", don't you?
It would be great to see a map like this in Shockwave, with USA fighting GLA.
It could also support the Navy when V1.0 comes out. ;)

Kuh! That'd be awesome! The Armor Gen v. Tank Gen? You have no idea how long i've been waiting for that battle. Each Side controls like, half the map or something. (It'd be the Armor Gen because he's the only general availiable because the rest are retreating around the world.) They'd be in like, Washington DC because (I live near there! ;) ) China thought the USA gave up too easily against the GLA and brought dishonor to them. There. That's like, my idea.

Yhea, that one, it kicks almighty 4$$!

Love to see the USA Battleships bombard the living crap out of GLA while getting pissed from the Balloons above ;)

I was wondering if it would be possible, that the player could choose a general or the vanilla side to go through the original ZH missions.
This way one could choose many different ways to win the campaign.

i was thinking along the lines of starting a new campaign with a copy of the first gdi mission. then later the covert ops mission that starts with a commando wiping out a base so you can build your own in its place.

I'd like to see a mission, where you ONLY have Jarmen Kell and you have to find your way from the GLA camp in the forest/mountains into a heavily guareded city where your assigned to kill a military leader of China/USA, a president or a traitor...

i doubt a US president or highup general would even allow himself to get in a situation that could couse him to be an easy target it would be alot more logical if it were demo jarmen who would need to blow up some key structures to power down a us defence line for instance ;)

Well, the assasin-mission could also be set in the US or Europe where the president and everyone else would think that he's safe...Maybe some kind of NATO-meeting or something like that...This is also not realisic, so the things could be a little...exagerated. The Demo-Jarmen thing would work too.

How about planting traps in a route used by a convoy of world leaders? This could lead to WWIII ;)

Or even better.. how about a mission that simulates WWIII itself hmm..?
it could be started by an unprovoked chinese attack to diego garcia and from there on.. the chinese began to use stolen techs from the US and...umm.. i don't know..
