Well, I will be skipping a C&C title since C&C Sole Survivor.

Well I think its obvious that EA was gonna make 3 factions *shrug*, I think two factions would be the best way to go to.

I will buy this, simply for the sake of knowing what people are talking about. Although the bigger part of the design is rather awful, the gameplay itself should be decent atleast to my standards. I actually don't mind the addition of Japan, it's always nice to see a faction that has been underrepresented in RTS. What I dislike about them is this godawful anime-theme they might have. Also, bear in mind that this is the only Red Alert we'll get, so all the mourning and complaining won't make them change it.

So you're boycotting RA3 just because they have 3 factions knowing next to nothing about how the three factions will play nor how the storyline will unfold between them? Or is it because you don't like Japan?

Honestly I'm ok with them adding Japan. In a way the faction entering makes sense to me.
Yes the Apoc tank pissed the hell out of me.

However, no boycott from me till I have played the demo and have made a judgement about the game.

I would suggest that Allstarz is rather annoyed at the way EA has handled this particular franchise and how Japan has had no real influnce in any of the other versions has now appeared from no where, when perhaps he thinks that there might have been a more suitable faction choice. Not that he has anything against Japan, per say, but I am guessing that he feels that it doesn't suit RA3! I suspect that this is more of a gripe at EA than Japan.

I just dislike the anime style and the cheese factor in the FMVs. I want a game that puts me in the mood, like what the original Red Alert did. Not even Tiberian Dawn's FMV's were that in depth and realistic. I just want that back, and without the Apocalypse Tank looking like a bloody clown car.

I'm not saying any of you should dislike it or the game will fail on gameplay, but if I'm to spend an hour or so playing a game, I don't want to be nausiated by the lack of depth in the FMVs or the anime style graphics. So call me a moron or call me a bigot, but that is my reasoning to disliking this game.

I wouldn't boycott it because gameplay will/might be good.

Ofcourse I can go and shout it out that I'll boycot it now, but like me, I don't think Allstarz will be able to resist trying it out when RA3 goes thunderbolting all forums at the release.

Dont see reasons to boycotting RA3.Nobody havent play game yet.
