I have just recently got hold on 3 ds max and have been modeling for 4 days now.
id just like to post some stuff i have made in here. hopefully they will improve as time goes on

First is my first proper model i made. I will probably update with detail over time when i get better.

First Tank

I was possibly being a little ambitious when i made this but here is a jet i made.

My Jet 1
My Jet 2
The Jet is based of designs from Anubis
Any comments are welcome.

Nice first attempts at using 3d max.

The Tank looks pretty good but could use some more detail, but the basic shape is there.

The Jet is much more complicated. You've done well to model something like this in such a short time. I know if i tried my hand at modeling it would take longer for me to make something like that. So nice job.

Keep modeling and your skills should steadily improve.

nice work for first models, but the models need more details imo. esspecially the tank and the tank tread could get some more details. for now it's a little to blocky imo. but as I said, nice work for the first models! ^^

Rather than work on my existing things, i thought id try and model something real life to improve my skills.
its an early-ish WIP. I will add more detail soon and fix some of the errors.ill also arm it as well as currently it has no real weapons. Can you guess what it is? :P

It looks like it's just stuck it's fingers down it's throat. Make it wider and you're onto a winner. Keep up the work chap! I can see huge potential here!

An update to my helicopter
I've done everything you said.
Ive widened both the chassis and the nose, used the planes for rotors and attempted to make it less boxy.

Good work fattening it up. Much better. Only constructive point now would be to try and perhaps soften the top lines. There is a very distinct square feel to it up top. Maybe try and make it alittle less boxy.

That looks pretty damn good. I think that is most likely going to find its way into CnC FC. If you can, can you go on the IRC channel, I want to ask you about some stuff related to the mod.

good model! it's always hard for me to keep it simple, so when it's finished i end up with twice the amount of poly's that i had in mind, making the model pretty useless...
