Either way you put it, it ends now. I, as well as most people has had enough of this, discuss about the topic and nothing else now. My apologies for that comment towards Kenny.

I'd disagree. Personally I'd say it's just the start of a new beginning - if this is the case, then I've succeeded.

There will be change. Either we come up with a solution or they will.

Am I supposed to just confirm to everything the staff says, lay down, and take it? Sorry but no. I'm not going to follow you and my voice will not be suppressed by you. If I got a problem with it, or what a person says. I will say so. If they counter, I will counter that counter. Thus the argument begins until one side has won.

And I am in fact discussing the topic. It has everything to do with the topic. Only your attempts at usurping anyone who has a opinion on the matter, actually de-rail this topic. Perhaps you should leave. Furthermore, cut the "as well as most people" stuff. If they got a problem then they can say so. Otherwise I'm just going to assume you pulled that statement out of your ass (For the lack of a better word).

Excuse me, but, was I talking to you? No, so get out of my business. I said that my argument with Alias should stop, because I hate fighting, and I apologized to Kenny. I had in no way talked to you, spoke to you, or said anything related to you. Before you go making false accusitions about someone's statements, look through the thread again, furthermore, you're the one that should leave if you're going to accuse someone of some crap like you just said. And no one told you to follow my ideas, either that or you don't know what an opinion means.

WarMenace you have no idea what your talking about, and even if you did you have not been around long enough for anyone to care. I think you should leave.

Well then I apologize for reading your general statement that had no actual indication as to who it was aimed at and taking it the wrong way. :D
Anyway since that's taken care of. I'll get back to the topic at hand.

Nem: Another stereotypical fool, if you don't know me, don't tell me what to do. I've been here longer than you, and if you don't believe me ask some people in the forums.

People should stop flaming me now, if it doesn't stop then this thread is dead. Let's just get back on topic.

Now, going into anonymous mode won't help you, staff. It's sad not to have a response so that this thread can go further.

Actually Nem didn't flame you. Flaming involves insults. I didn't see a single insult in his post. Your own however is a different story.

Are you mentally impaired? Even if you have been around longer then me (you have not) you don't contribute to the community at all. Maybe if you stopped making retarded comments and acting like a moderator people would not flame you.

I'm not going to say anything involving this anymore, if I do, you will all just reply with a smart-alec comment. So just stop, I'm not important at all in this thread, so quit replying towards me with stupid comments.

Anyway a point I'd like to repeat from before that argument got out of hand is that, there seems to be a lack of compromise between the staff and the membership. Most of the time it's just "Put up with it and shut up". Anyone else got an opinion on this?

It's the staff, they think they have control of everything, just because they have power, they try to abuse it.

I have asked the administration many times to respond with something other then "Its the rules shut up." I think a Community Leader could inform the staff of how far a little compromise and understanding goes.

But from what I recall from a few incidents in the past, that's too much to ask. The staff are staff because they know better, so back off and let them do their thing.

Now, in reality, when such reasoning is practiced, we end up with a revolution. That's what's going to happen around here sooner or later. Of course it won't be violent and bloody, but it won't be very fun either.

It's a good idea yes. I believe however the staff are not beyond learning to compromise a bit themselves. But even if they do a PR guy would be a great thing methinks.

This would be a grand idea. How would you choose said community leader? Would they be appointed by the staff, or by vote? :D

A vote would be ideal, seeing as how people appointed by the staff are not to popular.

As I have sadid before, I am fairly happy with the way things are run here. Things go smoothly and we are wel privelidged members.
That said. I don't think it's those who roam around the forums with the "staff" badge. I see Wizard, Bob, Dauth and Overdose regularly involving themselves int he community, as well as keeping things under control, while their methods are sometimes just "Locky. Shut Up" it does prevent flames spreading, and the place is generally well maintained thanks to them.

More of the problem to me is the admins in the community, I only really see E.V.E. around, getting involved with community. With the odd visit from Codecat to post something interesting, and Comr4de and The Hunter exchanging funnies in the "Funny Quotes" thread. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, or maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Maybe there is more going on behind the scenes, maybe they do have more going on with RL, Mod work and Social Lives, and that is generally more important than here. But I'd like to see at least some effort to get to know the people that take the time to sign up on their forum. To accept them as, even friends. That's something I havent seen in a while since we've had new members joining, and it's something I really miss about this community.

I would like to be a candidate...even thought i dont have any friends on this froum D: :D

On topic: no.....just no. In my brief time of being here, i have learned two things: stay away for flaming (hard as it may be :P (joke)) and respect the various positions of staff, now like many people i have my...(for a lack of a better word) problems, i know that they belive it is right, but they should not close a topic just beacause of a few wayward members, i belive they should just delete their posts.
You almost did, didn't you?
