This is an upgrade for the Wolverines, IFVs and Mammoth MKII as well as Orca: Wolverines and IFV get their gun replaced by ion cannons, the mammoth MKII gets the miniguns replaced by ion cannons, and the orca's missiles and minigun is replaced by twin ion cannons.

It's an upgrade from the tech center, the railgun upgrade is still there, but only applies to heavy units (Titan, AT-defenses, etc...)

does the wolverine fire the ion-cannons (after the upgrade) from the same minigun attachment or does something else come? it would be cool to fire from a rotating IC barrel kinda thingy. Perhaps reduce the shot damage and increase the fire rate :duh:

It fires four shots, and reloads. In the 4 shots it can kill 2 single members of a GDI riflement squad. Currently.It takes 1 second to kill 1 GDI riflemen, an unupgraded wolverine takes a tad longer. However, ion wolverines cause more damage to light vehicles than the normal ones. The normal ones don't damage light vehicles severly.

what i meant was, it would be cool to fire low damage ion cannon bursts from the wolverine's upgraded miniguns after the upgrade.

I've got some more stuff which I finished just recently.

Firstly I have killed squads. So far for GDI and Nod, Scrin is still to come. And that means APCs can now perfectly transport multiple infantry units.

Awesome, although I think I'll have mixed feelings on whether if single units or squads are better...also the Ion Cannon looks a bit...lackluster/plain/weak...I hope you're still working on improving it!


(Also large wheels :P When are you going to resize them? And also...lengthen the APC a bit? It looks squashed :duh:)
