When it compares.. the gun barrels look shorter to me in the older model.

Hmm, texture is a bit...dark :P It looks good though, I can really get the very-tough-tank feeling from it.

Still has those two barrels of destructive goodness. For being larger, it doesn't seem to be that much taller. Great for GDI, very bad for NOD. I really like the new turret.

I would have to check, but antennae aside, I think it's in fact overall lower than the old one.

That is like Awesome 100x. Looks damn well fitting for Mammoth tank. btw what is the building at the back. I assume its the war fac since it has repair drones.

Yeah, it's the old WF model with a crappy texture. I'll redo that eventually.

Not too keen on the house colour being on the muzzle, but the overall look is quite fetching. Kind of a subtle upgrade though, don't you think? I mean, appearance wise it has that whole "I'm not that much different from my traditional shell lobbing brother". Then again, I guess that's the idea.

yeah, nearly all the systems to accomodate the railguns are already there - after all, it's standard weapon is a pair of gauss cannons - so all that's needed is to put the railguns in place.

So it "upgrades" from Gauss to Rail? I thought those words meant basically the same thing?

No, they are both electromagnetic weapons, but there end the similarities.

A gauss cannon uses a set of electromagnets which are switched on and off to create a moving electromagnetic field. A railgun has two conducting rails used to fire a conducting projectile. The projectile itself may as well rest in a conducting sabot, and doesn't have to conduct by itself.

So just as the saying goes "it's all in the wrist", so the same can be said of this upgrade then. That is, if "wrist" is a metaphor for the projectile.

Firehawk replacement, the Firehawk isn't buildable anymore, but still used for off-map airstrikes, etc.:

Hmm...it looks nice, but interceptors need swept-back wings >:

Winglets would do nice too...

The cockpit block looks a bit odd though. The shape...

hmm...saw a similar thing in the Tib Essence mod a few days ago..but it was a repair drone in that case. Is this only for AA or does it have switchable load out like the firehawk. (I guess not since its called the "interceptor")

No loadout switch, Fighter and Bomber would make that redundant.

Also About the TE Orca: Same concept art.

On a better look, it looks like shell casings. Does it fire a cannon, instead of missiles? or both?

Both. It has 2 miniguns on top, and fires missiles. It doesn't have to reload the miniguns, but it does have to return to base to reload the missiles.

Is that the rocket soldiers in the 1st image? The launchers look too big for my liking. I mean as almost as big as the trooper.

It carries a launcher similar to a Javelin. That stuff is huge.
