I also got a bank-book with
Spoiler
. Actually, they gave this to me a few months ago but my parents insist that it's meant to be for my 20th so yeah...

Also, I just played RotR with my new, fully uncut, English copy of Generals. It's a whole new game for me!

I think you'd have been well off putting WALL-E as your runner up (frankly what I saw of Batman Begins leaves me with the impression I'd put WALL-E ahead of The Dark Knight, but then I'd get lynched for suggesting it - oh wait, never mind, I just did. I'll go and prepare the electric fence, shall I?).
In all seriousness though it's a genuine masterpiece of a movie. The visuals are probably the most awe-inspiring CG ever made, it's got a gorgeously warm heart to it, and while it degrades at bit as it moves towards the end it keeps a lovely story interwoven with mild sarcasm for those old enough to appreciate it, a few nice references and a genuinely stunning direction and art design in all areas, coupled with incredibly high production values and all the things Pixar does well at their absolute best.
It's all up to your personal opinion (after all, it's your website and not mine - I'm much too lazy to keep a website!) but I think WALL-E should definitely deserve a place on anyone's top movies list of this year. It wasn't exactly an exciting year for movies otherwise almost at all.

Quote

"Working together, we can build a world in which the rule of law — not the rule of force — governs relations between states. A world in which leaders respect the rights of their people, and nations seek peace, not destruction or domination. And neither we nor anyone else should live in fear ever again." - Wesley Clark

Well, truth be told, I actually haven't SEEN Wall-E. Everyone keeps telling me it's good and I'm willing to believe that. It's just that the Dark Knight was the most memorable movie I've seen this year. Having not seen Wall-E, I simply can't compare it to anything else. Also, don't worry, no-one's gonna lynch you. After all, I said "and if you think it sucks, you must be stupid". As long as we agree that it WAS a good movie in the way of quality, things are all good, mate.

EDIT: Added something on the website for the sake of clarity.

You should add a link to that NG video Lizzie posted. It's a good summary of how I felt throughout the movie and probably many others.
