yeah, ironical the gigafortress could be one of the most balance units in the whole expansion, in fact i think its better to just use Shogun Battleships as they are cheaper and a lot faster

but oh god the Future Tank 1 shotting killing practicall EVERYTHING

The Giga fortress has no build limit, Shoguns are pretty bad in the expansion (there accuracy have been reduced and do less damage I believe)

Damn, looks like it'll be better if I stay with my RA3...Future Tank, eh. Just hope EA actually makes a proper expansion for RA3 like they did for Gens (ZH) >.>

the shoguns still have more range and are a lot faster, and the attack of the head mode of the gigafortress has a very big delay, making units able to dodge it, and his air attack isnt that good, for the cost the allieds could make 6 cryocopters and freeze it to dead

thats what they WANT you to believe.
like remember the Apollo fighter and it took down a kirov in seconds but in the game it takes a squadron of 4 to take it down and it takes a really long time.

Except this thing actually CAN take down Apocs and Hammers that fast!

It does insane damage to everything except infantry.

even infantry are killed with the laser guns, i mean, it can one shot kill everything minus the MCV and the super reactor

That unit looks downright powerful, but not in an awesome way... more like in a 'is that really fair?' way.

It might work in others games where it is executed properly, but not in this...

to anyone who owns uprising: Is the future tank X-1 Is really as powerful as it looks on the Profile video?
because the videos tend to exaggerate on the power of the units.

Yes, it really is that powerful.

But it isn't too great against buildings, until you bring out the riot beam.

Too right. That's the reason why uber-units in certain ZH mods which require a whole new building and over $9000 to build are still overpowered because once you have the bloody thing, chances are it'll obliterate twice as many enemy units as you could have bought with the cash you spend on building the damn thing. It's also reeeally cheap because these units are only effective due to overpowered weapons which wtfpwn everything in their path except for that ONE weakness which can be tackled with a small escort. There simply isn't a way to compensate for such firepower in most cases and tech-requirements/price tags only work to a certain limited extent.

Also, the concept art makes it even more obvious that this one was taken right out of a Terminator movie. Red Alert 4: Rise of the Machines anyone?
