Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield: Bad Comp...

Also, on the subject of pre-ordering for an advantage? There's little to none here. You get stuff everyone else can get just a little earlier but as any BF fan knows Gear doesn't make you. it's your team. Which is why I love Battlefield! I love being able to hop in with a couple of buddies and turn the tide of a massive battle with just the few of us.

Oh well, if the game is good enough, that shouldn't matter too much.
They locked all the stuff like that in previous games(You obv unlocked it later). It didn't keep new people away then I doubt it will now. You seem pretty open to poke jabs at the game but you've never actually tried a Battlefield game previously.

EDIT: also, and though you're definitely not the first person to do it wrong (more like the twentieth), it's "Chyros"

Also, a day-one advantage can be a pretty massive one, still. On Christmas midnight, in MW2 for example, I got a whole bunch of nukes. Why? Because I was playing with nothing but people who had just gotten the game... and didn't have a Stinger yet to counter my Chopper Gunner. I choose to not mind it that much because in the end it won't matter, but don't tell me a day-one advantage can not be an advantage or anything. And something advertised as "significantly improved durability & significantly improved firepower" doesn't sound like it's not really advantageous.

But the scenario you just said happens all the time in just about every game...?

With a vid!
Look at that m16 desert skin there near the start :O
I think thats an mp5 at 16 secs in, that wasnt in the previous one
and was that a FAL or something at 26 secs in? I cant make it out, there were no semi-auto assault rifles in the first either
Squad rush sounds a bit meh, I prefer the massive battles with loads of players

Let's get something together when it does, seems like there is plenty of support for it.

Ironically, in Canada, I only had my laptop which was ok for games like ZH and DoW and even some HL2 and L4D but this game would have brought it to its knees, but my connection was so amazing

Now here, I've got a PC that runs everything, but I lack a playable connection. In fact, I would be ok with my current speed if the PIN wasn't so absolutely retarded (in this case quite literally

Contrary to what MW2 may have told you, the FAL and G3 are both capable of automatic fire in real life, and there are a lot of semi-auto weapons out there, too. And I doubt it's an FAL, or an M16 as Chyros said (the M16 front sight post doesn't curl nearly that far to the sides, it's actually fairly straight). I feel like I've seen that sight picture (from the front post cowitnessing the scope he's using) but I couldn't tell you were.

If you check the leaked weapons list the M1A1 is included on it. So it would make sense...also...the G3 is in that video as well.
