and me, im too lazy and cheap to buy games straight after there realease, i usually buy them at least a month after the release, by then they are soooo much cheaper

btw is it me or....on that genre thing it says *shooters* :P and....WTF? the orca have the RA2 or Generals USA logo ?!?! :)

I wish it was the RA series. RA was one of the very first games, i've ever played. But feh. A new CNC is a new Shockwave. :P :)

Well, hopefully it will turn out to be what Tiberian Sun was supposed to be.

I hope Cabal makes some sort of ressurection. (Maybe the ending of Firestorm will really have meaning with Kane being merged with Cabal and attacking both Nod and GDI?)

I'm really looking for bump mapping to be used and a better system for handling large maps with lots of objects, units, and complicated path finding. (I also hope they bring back the waypoint system from RA2 and the old one from TS. The TS one was really handy for moving units back and forth between bases.)

The magazine mentions a release in 2007. (Early 2007 I believe. I don't have the magazine, but have read that statement here and there from reliable forums and people, and it seems to be plausible to me.)

This is what I really want to see:

Subteranean Flame tank that actually fires from both side jets intead of the center.

Cyborg Reapers, Soldiers, and Commandos again! :minigunner:

Tick tanks like they should have been.

Advanced Titan/mech design with more realistic behavior and handling development wise.

Artillery with Loooong range. (And mobile units to counter them.)

More effects to the ecosystem from Tiberium.




Anyway, alot of the stuff in Generals seems to be realizations of concepts touted for years in CnC, like the tunnel system, better veteran and garrison system, better aircraft system, better laser system, better stealth system etc.)


Hopefully things like the Nod tunnel system and GDI upgrading system will be further advanced and put to use.

Hmm...

Not impressed. Uses the same engine as the previous game in the series, just reverts to the (more popular) older system.

There are mods out there that do this.

Of course, every single mod team will be using this mod in about 3 weeks.

And I still want Starcraft 2.

Well If they use those very same ones then you can expect sweet tiberium enviroments. :P

but regardless if the game would suck or be excellent i will get it if it sucks then more people will play shockwave 2 becouse it fixes the errors and stupid little things if it's a good game then i didn't waste money and can still add a few new things to the game :)

damn right tho i don't mind mechs they can never and should not replace the function which a MBT should have in a RTS game and those new mammoth tanks or what ever they will be called look very cool :P

Those aren't the new Mammoth Tanks, they're the original concept for the Overlord. :P

So, I wonder if this is still C&C3 we're looking at, or just more teaser art. And if it is true, it would explain why the Orca has Generals' USA logo on the tail. And that tank also looks suspiciously similar to Generals' Overlord tank.

well then i think i should officially announce that i am postpoining any work on the CNC battletech mod untill this comes out........... and i will hopefully keep the GDI and NOD but give them some battletech era stuff...... imagine a 100 ton version of the titan, or a 60 ton version of the wolverine :P
