It seems that the announcer's name is Helen. Which is interesting, because the voice actress is called Ellen McLain.

Looks like it could be something along the lines of the Fallout 3 system. They'd just better include item swapping else people are going to start getting ANGRY quickly.

I'm tempted to think it is - if it is, doesn't that make for all nine classes sorted out? Would be Valve's idea of a good Xmas present. Plus, with the two most explosive classes getting updates, surely the Engie will need to be updated in order to give him a little edge over those classes that are best at destroying his buildings?

I reckon it'll all just be done and dusted off here, once and for all (all but anyways)

I'm liking the sound of the Eyelander and the Chargin Targe. Although it seems a bit silly, having almost medieval style combat in a game with rocket launchers and flamethrowers. But I guess TF2 was always quite silly :P

The stakes are getting higher. It'll be a wonder what the Eyelander and Chargin' Targe will be like in actual combat, but then again, Ion has a point about TF2 being a bit silly. Now we just need to see what the Soldier was given.

Oh that was risky, it's going to be a complete sod to get the demoman to hand over the Sticky Bomb launcher, it's just too valuable a weapon. This melee set had better be a good set, else the demo is going to get owned - I'd have probably suggested that the primary weapon be traded for the shield...

No I'm not saying fire/explosive/damage resistance, I'm meaning the shield blocks bullets entirely and you suffer zero damage. :P

What I'm disappointed about is that it's not really demo-ish anymore. Now he's not demoman anymore, they turned him into medievalman.

I personally enjoy these new weapons as they applied something new and fresh and ultimately unexpected. He is still the demo man. Wait for the next weapon unlock I'm 75% positive it's explosive related and 25% certain it's booze

What I'm disappointed about is that the sword and shield would have been a perfect match for the solly's Viking Helmet :P

i love how the demoman get this and the sniper got a shield than only save you from backstabs and slow you down :P
