I rarely find myself thinking during a game, "OMG that weapon is sooooooo OP", granted that the ACR is like a laser yadda yadda, but it's not unplayable. There are few players that are unbeatable, even if they are using weapons with zero recoil and out-sniping the snipers. I suffer more poor performances from bad hosts than I do imba weaponary.

Sorry mate, but when I find my performance goes up a hundred percent while using a particular CLASS of weapons alone despite being proficient with all weapons I think you can definitely speak with great certainty of "significant imbalance". If two players of exactly the same skill level meet, one with a sniper rifle and one with an assault rifle, and the sniper rifle loses out almost every single time, the imbalance is significant enough to say it's game-breaking.

Not using an assault rifle is an infinitely greater disadvantage than even major lag.

The real point of burst fire is for suppressive fire however with burst fire suppression fire you arent prone to wasting that much of ordinance and more importantly the inclusion of SAW systems in every platoon kinda made it also redundant.

Except most actual gamers are sheep who feel the need to always buy the last CoD game. As long as Activision throws a few flashy videos, they'll have millions of consumers no matter the price of the game...

But CoD isnt as much of a second life as something like WoW. Make all the jokes you want but people dont depend on CoD the way they do with MMORPG's. Its about blasting away some random people for a few hours and then doing something else (Yes apart from the 13 year olds with nothing else to do or clan members yada yada yada, but they arent the entire userbase).

So Im predicting that while it will be successful and people will buy it as always, it wont take off as much as the other CoD's. EA will go right in there for sure and be all: "Battlefield and MoH have no subscription fee's guys!" and snap up customers who dont want to pay monthly.

This is true, but the PS3 is kind of a violent console platform if I understood correctly. It supports the kind of gamer who falls into a narcoleptic coma when they go without killing someone for forty-five seconds, if Yahtzee is to be believed .

Installed and played it, Graphics wise it is very W@Wish and The game is really laggy at the moment. Hopfully it settles down.
