Getting very interested in this after seeing that vid.

Notably, this got released a day or two ago; it's the intro video from the beta (and looks remarkably similar to the intro video from ME2 after Shepard's crashed). There aren't many/any spoilers to it, but there's the obvious warning attached. Tbh, looks pretty damn epic.

This is the fourth gameplay trailer for Deus Ex, but my version (It's got a few scenes in it which weren't in the original fourth trailer, most of the changes are at 1:22 onwards where the battles begins).

Very simple to do, I did this to make my brother get more hyped up for the game (he hasn't seen the trailer yet, he's in Poland. When he arrives this week, I'll show him this trailer rather than the trailer that Eidos Montreal made) with some cooler-looking fight scenes.

Reviews are out, though I expect the number will increase over time. It's basically a 9/10, although generally the low scores come from less reputable / crap sites as far as I can tell. Also due to the nature of the game every reviewer will have a different experience. The important thing is that this is the deus ex game it should have been by the sounds of it, it's also properly optimised for PC and in no way a port. In short it sounds like it has lived up to it's expectations, the game isn't perfect but I think it's probably the closest thing since HL2.

in fact, i highly doubt it's not a port. the leaked first 10 (or so) hours were full of annoying little details pointing to an unfinished console port.

It's not a port, they brought in another studio to make sure the PC version was a "PC Version".

Unlocks in 4 hours for Australians (midnight), I'll try and get some first impressions. I have work tomorrow so I probably won't have more than about 3 hours with it.

Quite looking forward to it, though.

EDIT: It looks like, unfortunately, even though I have it activated it on an Australian account, I have a UK key which means I guess I need to wait until the same time as you folk. ;_;

Alright so it actually did get unlocked at the Australian time and I've spent around the last 5 hours on it.

Pretty solid game, gameplay reminds me a lot of Mass Effect 2 and the story is pretty godlike so far.

Initial impressions is around an 8.5-9, although it's only continued to exceed itself previously so I'm thinking it may hit 9.5 or 10 when I get towards the conclusion.

Oh, and it's bloody hard.
