I hope Ghana suffers a crushing defeat. They don't deserve the cup. I'll be cheering on England against Germany though. Time to don the football shirt I was given :P

He was during US v Ghana too :P . Must've thought England would get first in their pool 8| .

EDIT: in fact, 1-0 for Germany - Klose again.
EDIT2: in fact, 2-0 for Gemany. Podolski this time.

England get your act together or you're going to lose 4-0! D:

EDIT3: 2-1; what a game we've got here :D . This is the most fast and furious game ever 8| . And it should've been 2-2, too, in only half an hour.

That linesman is myopic. The ball was over the line by what, half a meter?

Are they employing the ''when in doubt, flag up'' doctrine? This is just so silly. The entire stadium and the entire world can see justice but on the field they are not allowed to do so. The match has become a controversial fail here.

Sad if England loses the match to this. Cameras will enter professional football, for the better. Hope we are soon rid of Sepp Blatter so it can be sped up. There is nothing good about shit like this.

Yeah, I never understood why they still don't allow technical means of assistance. Just look at how important a simple mistake like this is.

Well hopefully for that cause, the score will remain like it is and England loses the match to it. That will make conservative idiots position like Sepp Blatter untenable.

To be honest, even though it should've been 4:2 now, the English are being outmatched. Both parties get an immense amount of shots on goal, but the Germans finish off their work more than the English. The English defence is absolutely nonexistent.

Good to see the refs bought themselves high quality glass eyes, innit? I've given up supporting teams in the World Cup. Every team I cheer on seems to lose. >_> I think I feel like Mick...cept without the whole Stones business.

Serious epic fail. As was expected. Ref was blind, but that should not detract from England being incredibly poor. Tbh I blame the FA mostly, any English players' season is crammed full of games, and we have very little time to mesh as a team, and when we do, it is on a ground (Wembley) that is being poorly managed, and loaned out to everybody, who destroy the playing surface (think gigs and American Football). Capello also cocked up big time with 4-4-2, nobody plays that anymore, and certainly none of the players in the World Cup squad. What he was thinking there is beyond me.
For there can be no death without life.

Probably safe to add that England's coach won't be back, not by anyone else exerting pressure, but by his own lead.

Also: Argentina v Mexico. Mexicans play ball quite well but every time they lose the ball, Argentina retaliates with great force. If Argentina starts out with the ball they behave extremely lazily. Though that first goal was offside by about two miles, they are still rightly in the lead with 2-0.

EDIT: not more than two seconds after I typed this Tevez scores again (very nice shot btw). Mexico are out by miles.

Tevez's shot was beyond epic! And tbh I would say Mexico played very inconsistently. They would make massive cockup such as the one that lead to Higuain's goal and then there was Javi Hernandez's charge (I think Fergie will be fully satisfied with him btw).

Yeah, Teves shoots cannonballs. It's interesting to note just how many strong strikers/forward midfielders Argentina have, even though they pay for this with rather mediocre defenders and a pretty useless midfield game (the reason why most of their games look slacky, IMO).

Huh? Whats that supposed to mean?

Some 4-5 pages ago I said the refs were influencing the game too much with bad calls, you replied on that post that I was exaggerating.

England were bloody awful in almost every single area.
The decision was an utter disgrace as well but we deserved everything we got. That decision did not affect the final result as much as most people like to believe.
On another note, keep going Artentina. If England can't win me my money, i'm hoping Argentina can.

1-0 Robben :read:
