I'm going to have to give this game some serious consideration, to factor in how much time I can and want to devote to something like this.

After some testing it's suprisingly fun I'm in a tank destroyer and get pretty nice kills with it

Errr... Like any other? Dude, most MMOs are F2P and simply have an item shop where you can more advantages than others by paying, but lacking them won't be much of a problem...
And this game is no exception according to a quick Google search.

You shouldn't build an opinion of the whole genre over a single (crappy) game. The fact that it's the most played one doesn't mean it's the best

This is a pretty interesting concept for an MMO. Though the tactics so far seem to be either ambush them or rush with light tanks.

Whilst I've done shit so far this is actually quite an interesting little game, albeit that you get hammered if you've just started
