Is anyone else going to qualify for the closed/open beta? Ie registered at DoWII forums and has bought the game already?? Would be kewl to have a few beta games in February.

Just to be clear this is the Dawn of war with the epic competitive gaming side to it and were the units don't take 3 years to die right?

You have to register at the forums? I thought that you'd get access to it through Steam when the Beta was launched

Not to mention you had to register there before the 25th (apparently. I looked into it earlier).

You should get access to the beta, but at a delayed date iirc. I have been a member there for ages, but I don't know who else is etc.

Just played two very quick comp stomps. IG are going to be very difficult to stop late game 
And wtf have they done to the SM FC's voice?!?! It's a cross between a pirate and a news reader

If anyone wants some questions answered then lemme know. And yes, despite what has been said by the developers, pathfinding IS a problem for the LR and BB

How much HDD space does it take up? Untill my new rig arrives, I am very limited on space, and I'd like to know before I get access so I can clear up some for it

I also played the beta thanks which I think is open to anyone now. I agree with Wizard, the voices are disappointing. Even the IG voices are too cheesy for me. I loved the voices in original DOW for IG. Still could not try the baneblade to the max. At least they could have used DOW2 voices. These voices sort of ruins the experience for me.

Judgement damage against vehicles, carnifexs, tyrant guard, swarmlord etc reduce by 50%
Catachan Devils
Explosive shot now properly costs 40 energy
Smoke Grenade can no longer be interrupted
Imperial Guard Heavy Weapons Lascannon
Slow effect now applies to the Carnifex, Swarmlord and Tyrant Guard to bring in line with Havoc and Space Marine Devastator Lascannons
Banewolf
Hit point increase per level reduced from 15% to 10%
Baneblade
Left and right lascannon damage reduced from 65 to 55
Health decreased from 4200 to 3750
Termagants
Crippling Poison no longer applies a damage modifier to the affected unit

Actually looking at it in 720, the pauldron does bear a resemblance to a DP. Also, why does Gabriel look like Duke Nukem now?
