Finally finished the SM campaign. Damn that Lascannon is pure win. Makes it too easy :D.

A pretty honest opinion of the game, noting the rather disappointing storyline for all 6 races. People should note potential for spoilers.

Well, compared to what the writer had to work with, he managed to make alot of character progression. I especially liked the eldar campaigns plot. There's also some great dialogue in it.

But yeah, it should have had more plot.

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.

The very least that they could've done was to include a unique mission for each faction. The SM v SM missions work due to it being loyalist v traitors, but Eldar v Eldar is just silly |8

I've almost finished the Tyranid campaign and so far i've enjoyed it a lot.
I really like the difference between the Hormaguant type fodder units and units like the Tyrant guard. It works really nicely.

Yeah, that was kinda silly. But I loved Ronahn and the little monologue he gave after Kayleth told him he didn't know anything about what happened to dead Eldar.

...And I utterly hate english punctuation, will never learn how to do it.

The second image with the three, one or two of the Marines looks like they're on a swing.

"PUSH ME BROTHERS! FOR THE EMPEROR!"

"Alright, but I wanna go afterwards!"

*Dreadnought looks on in sorrow, knowing that he will never experience the joy of the swing again*

OK... this is very interesting. I like they're using some basic codex code or something.

No u!

It's not April yet, in California, and the DLC has been rumoured for sometime, on top of the new TLS wargear that was announced last week.

That is unless THQ are trolling their fanbase hard.

No April fools here - it's the 31st!

There's several models unique to the DLC pack, it's not just a redo of the textures. :)

Editing a few character models for a professional game company is not a big deal, I say don't hold your hopes too high, wait for tomorrow :)

I'd say they forgot the Deathwing, but there's a Land Raider Crusader (wait a tick, this pattern is supposed to be exceedingly rare) begging to differ (I'd still bet that THQ "forgot" them). I also do not see the Ravenwing, then again, those gents are a bunch 41st millennia Hell's Angels. >_>

The dreadnought flat out sucks. It's a simple reskin. A Dark Angels Dreadnought, particularly a Venerable Dreadnought, has a different appearance, by way of the legs, the torso architecture, and also the appearance of the powerfist.

$7.50 is a quite a lot for some new unit skins and textures don't you think?
