Hi there! Welcome to the forums, hope you'll hang around here from time to time.

PS: whatever the others say about me, don't listen! They're all just jealous of my mastermind!

Quote

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.

More like CnC3 Classic, if you wanted to compare it to something you know. 8|

As far as Red Alert goes, there's one thing the Russians simply must have: Tesla tech. It appears this mod delivers.

Welcome to the forum gents. Hope you find the community and staff more than helpful and accommodating. 8|

The name "Shock Therapy" was chosen because the mod started out as a simple project to add the Tesla Tank into multiplayer.

The mod sticks to the Red Alert 3 vanilla story-line when it comes to technologies (no nukes/WCD), and we're not a "Red Alert (2) Reborn" project, but some additions (like the yellow tesla jolts from a "charged" Tesla Coil) pay homage to previous titles.

Some of our future additions will include the Chrono Tank (it will return yet again 8| ) and all the Super Abilities for the factions.

Ah I see. So what is the long term goal? Is it just adding what you guys like to see in your Red Alert 3 game or is there a more concrete and constructed goal.

I'm liking all the tesla stuff too though 8|

Well, we don't really have any solid long term goals. We just turn RA3 into the game it should have been.

We will listen to the community's suggestions.
On our previous forum, there was a discussion going on for a Soviet "Super Unit" (like the Harbinger and Giga Fortress), and also a possible Soviet Close Air Support plane idea. We took these discussions very serious. Especially the proposed Soviet Super Unit was a very nice idea... Unfortunately, I couldn't back the idea up...

If anyone has a suggestion, or a cool idea, just visit our Ideas & Suggestions forum, and post it :D

Welcome. This mod sounds like it could re-invigorate my copy of RA3. An expansion mod would indeed be cool. Maybe bring some of the units from Uprising or similar units.

Well, the following units will be added to our mod:
- Tesla Tank (already added)
- Chrono Tank (seen in previous versions, will return in the next release)
- all Uprising Units
- Shogun Executioner (Imperial Super Ability, costs a lot of resources and power)

We'll balance these units for multiplayer games.

Other additions that have been discussed:
- a Soviet Air to Ground strike plane
- Soviet Epic Unit
