AC4 was my very first PS2 game, and it's a true favorite of mine. Didn't care for the other games in the series, though.

I played AC once it was good if I could get my PS2 back from this guys and if I had the money I'd play ACZ cuz it looks really good.

No one liked AC5? Sure, you couldn't choose your aircraft's loadout (missed that deeply), and the fact that you had to unlock aircraft by getting kills with the previous models was a bit annoying, but I liked how you could command your wingmen and the later levels were amazing.
My favorite AC aircraft:
Fighter: Su-37 Terminator/ F-22A Raptor /Su-47 Berkut
Attacker: Su-34 Utkanos/ F-2A
Multirole: F-35C Lightning II/ F/A-18E Super Hornet

i don't hate ac5, but i was tired of the retarded AI and your wingmen bitching about how war is bad and crap. btw, where was the SU-34 from? i dont't remember it being in any of the ACs..

Yeah, what I wouldn't have given for the chance to rebuke your wingmen on their feelings about the war The Su-34 (aka Su-27IB) is the attacker variant of the Su-27- in Ace Combat 5 you unlock it along with the Su-35 by filling the Su-27's kill bar. It also appears in ACZ. In all AC5 was on par with AC4, I think.

I didn't say that I disliked AC4 (on the contrary), just that I liked AC5. I like all of the AC series that I have played (all of the PS2 ones).

All you need to take out a Yellow are those Quick Maneuver Missles. IMO, AC4 was the best of the series.

Yeah, the Su-30MK (Su-37) is pretty kick ass...I think AC5 and ACZero are the best of the series- I might get a PSP so I can play Ace Combat X.

advice to anyone who is interested in the Ace Combat series: play AC4, then 5, then Zero. everything will make more sense and you'll notice more stuff (like references to past games, easter eggs, etc.)

(reason I posted this: a few people (who shall remain unnamed, for they didnt really ask me to do this) are interested in Ace Combat)

I like the SU-37 Terminator. But the plane I pilot the most is the J-35J Draken. It's probably my favorite plane, it has incredible speed, and can make some pretty insane turns at slow speeds.

Yeah, the J-35J is pretty good for a default airplane.
