Yes, they made it quite hot inside. They divided up the zoo in several ways like this, mimicking the natural environment very nicely. This particular region was the desert region.

I'm a chemist, not a biologist . Biologists collect all kinds of samples and try to grow different kinds of snot in petri dishes. Chemists only work with pure poison and explosives .
