For centuries Hindu women have worn a dot (tikka) on their fore heads. Most of us thought this was connected to marriage or religion.
The Indian High Commission has recent revealed the true story. When a hindu woman gets married, she brings a dowry into the union.
On her wedding night, the husband scratches off the dot to see whether he has won a:-
A - Taxi licence
B - Convenience store
C - Service station
D - Kebab shop
E - Take away cafe
If nothing is revealed, he must stay in India and take a job answering telephones giving technical advice to phone customers all over the world.
I question the general assumption that i am inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure
