That sucks.

Being on a small island has certainly helped. We've also been super proactive and strict right from the start. We've only got 1 hospital, and just can't afford for it to be overwhelmed.

Our government is preparing for normalization too, and they are eager to open our beach resorts back to business as soon as possible.

Increased UV light during summer might help negate that bad choice but it will be horrible once fall-winter begins.

We heavy rely on tourism too, but by the way our government speaks, it's going to be a long time before the borders are opened up.
