OK I must admit I still have no idea what's goin on in the Witcher but it's still kinda cool!

There are racist, sadistic, stronger version of Elves living in other dimension (Wild Hunt: the horseman appearing in a few scenes are members of that race)

A portion of those Elves (Those with Elder Blood) has the ability to open portals to new worlds to carry their people there when their old world dies (White Frost: Natural Ice Age Cycle happening every once in awhile)

But then Conjunction of the Spheres (Dimension crash) happens and for unknown reasons those with Elder Blood loses most of their portal opening powers.

Now they can open smaller portals for shorter periods time so not many of their people can go through.

Those Elves have a culture where they use humans as slaves(They see them like animals) Wild Hunt is only a few in number but they create theatrics with magic while they open portal to confuse people and make them believe an army of them is approaching. So they take people and disappear. For some unknown reason they also drop dead bodies back to this dimension. Perhaps to cause fear, since the leader of the Wild Hunt is quite sadistic.

So, Nazi Elves also had a secret super mage program (Just like how humans breed Witchers) Elven Sages produced individuals so powerful, they could control space/time. They wanted to keep the bloodline pure so it could get more potent. But Ciri's Elf mom broke that line by fucking a human (Emhyr) and that is where the story starts.

So whole story is about Ciri, she is basically the strongest being alive and other shit you see is the side stories.

I was tempted to get many 2D games solely based on how they look but i am quickly bored of their streamroll gameplay as they lack a major component i need: cocainum!

Yes, I was playing Huntdown. Some others', like Blasphemous, is also absolutely phenomenal, though. Speaking of which; that's very much not a steamroll game. Phenomenal story and setting, that, but the gameplay is very Castlevania; it's hardcore in a way you need to like.

The omikron variant may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. It's far more contagious, but less virulent. Because it is in competition with them, it is repressing other, more deadly strains of Covid already.

It's not the virus copying itself that is causing the major damage in the body.

I couldn't find an article about how a variant is more likely to create severe illness compared to another. About how it works. (I know there are factors such as age,ongoing other illness, genes, immune gaps etc. but i don't know how it works, the process)

Data about another, more well known virus would be fine too. I just want to understand ^^
