Manga is comics. You know, word bubbles, drawn on paper, printed to books.
Anime is animations. For television, cinema and video. They're animated movies.
The art style and pretty much everything is the same for both media. Now promise me to use wikipedia in the future and not make up dumbass excuses like "it doesn't help", because it ALWAYS DOES.

But the style is fairly the same, though Manga usually has had more attention to the drawings or some nice humor added to it. Great stories can be told in a small Manga book.
