Time of War is a C&C3 total conversion which have creating realistic experience of near future war between the forces (Russia, USA and European Union) as its main goal. We will try to add to 'classic' RTS concept some new ideas to show realistic tactics of fight, used in modern armies.
Another important feature is using of prototype futuristic vehicles and weapons which was never used in any game or mod (such as russian КМБЭПЛ, Скат, Торнадо, american FCS, european Leopard Ettape-3 etc).

Here is some renders, but we are looking for skinner.

Not again... This must be like the fourth modern combat mod I have seen for cnc3. And as usual it has the same exact sides. Screw it, I won't even argue about it. I wish the best for the gameplay.

Those models are indeed very well done, but finding good skinners will probably be a problem (there simply aren´t many out there that don´t have their own projects). It might be best for your team to try to learn skinning yourself so that you could at least help those few that you can enlist in order to get a decent work flow.

BTW, do you have some sort of website?
Now go out and procreate. IN THE NAME OF DOOM!

Thank you, but i didn't learn anything new for me from that tutorial :P I can skin similar. But i think it isn't enough to make a mod with cool graphics :happy:

Yes, as i see it is very difficult (may be even imbossible) to find a good skinner. As for me, i will try to rise up my skills to learn skinning as far as it is possible (yes, i want to make textures similar in quality to CWC's or RWM's ones :smile: )

I can show this example of textures which can i make, but it is rather bad quality (i done it more than 1 year ago)

The skins...well, they'll come with time (whether by your own hand or someone else's) :P .

Isn't any sense in this? I have my own reservations what could significantly improve this mod and make it more unique compared to other modern combat mods. But, sadly, I don't intend to show it just yet.

To be honest i actual think your skins are pretty good. They lack certain details but that comes with practice. You certainly seem to have the raw talent to do better. Loving the models. The Details are exquisite. I hope you guys find a skinner to help you out but its gonna be a tough task to find one. The good ones are already taken and the okish one are on par with your own skills and the no so okish ones are willing to help but you might have to invest time in teaching them a few tricks.

Actually, I don't know what to show. We have only unskinned models and ideas and unit-list (or something similar) - i'm not sure that many people could be interested by this. But i'd really like to read some suggestions/ideas... Perhaps, it is a good sense to get hosted here. So, to whom i must address for this?

Thank you, but i don't think so... To make a really cool mod skins must be cool too, like Cold War Crisis. Of course, i will practise, nowhere is noone good skinners :(

Ok. You wanted ideas, so here is one of my reservation: USA? EU? Russia? Those sides have been overused to death in many other modern combat mods. I recommend you do research on other countries or alliances that have significant strength and power besides these 3 nations. I have the perfect nation in mind however if I ever want to make a unique modern combat mod I want to keep this nation as my ace in the hole for modding.

Take any other country in the world and you still end up with EU, USA, Russia interms of Hardware use. No matter what you do you will end up with limited hardware selection because practically 99% of the worlds hardware is sourced from these nations.

As I said, we will use mostly prototype vehicles (which is currently in development in armies) because the mod's story takes place in 2020 years. These prototypes are not overused - can you name any game or mod, where was FCS comlex, FMBT, B-23U, Leopard Ett.3? And Russian KVBEPL (T-95, Coalition-SV, BMPT-2), Tornado MLR, Skat (unmanned bomber)? I think that you even didn't hear about this russian stuff... :minigunner:

CNC Europe? I've known dead mods that tried to use that side as well. And if I remember there is already another mod trying to do FCS too with modern nations. Can't remember if they are using EU but they might. If anything I know one nation that is absolutely perfect for a mod but are always overlooked for some reason.
