All mods are good in their own right, to be honest there is no singular "best" mod.

OK then is shockwave worth it

this question is same as "Whats the best game"....theres simply no answer to the question as it depends on you taste

My Opinions:
If you want a unit addition mod:
Shockwave
Contra

Both are very high quality and great fun.

I also think Zero Hour Reborn and Destructive Forces are fun to play but they have quite a few bugs and are not so well balanced.

If you like Total conversions, it's more about what you are interested in and not how good the mod is.

In my apinion it's Steel Legion 1.0 for DoW Dark Crusade.

But he did post it in Gen/ZH modding.

Seriously, this is a modding community hosting almost a dozen mods for ZH alone. Do you really expect an honest, unbiased answer?

Apart from ES mods, I can recommend Remix 3, however I strongly suggest you play with other people since they only have working AI for one side, and fighting the exact same stuff over and over again gets pretty boring, especially if that stuff is OP as hell (main battle mech outranging defences, that sort of thing).

Theres lot of ZH mods and all are great
SW has released,Gen X will be soon,Remix 3 is half done and also forgot ROTR.

Without a doubt the best mod ever made was ProGen, I don`t care what anyone says i love that mod and it`s what generals and ZH should have been.

ProGen is fun, but it doesn't actually really add much at all

Particle effects are going to be very visual, and bug fixes are felt as opposed to seen.

for a TC IMO i still say RotR is the best one....no matter how much sum (highlight SUM) units were imbalanced its still a awesome mod
