I'm loving the steampunk stuff. :P
But why don't you soften the edges on you're models?
I think they would look much better that way.
I've come face to face with myself, man.

feeling extremely uninspired lately, modeled this while on zero-inspiration mode.

enjoy. although the turrets are way too detailed compared to the chassis.

Yeah, but the turret look freakin' awesome still. Put a little more detail on the main body, and you'll have something awesome.

Woah! That is a beauty of a model! Fantastic concept and great proportions.

How many polys?

That's one of Eric Gooch's concepts, isn't it? :sly:

If memory serves me correctly this puts a spin on the original because it didn't have treads.

I'd really like to see this one animated - switching between the state of an articulated walker to a treaded behemoth.

i honestly have no idea of what it's based, it's just a collection of what i've seen on the net for quite a while.

heya, new model inbound.

whilst undeployed it's harmless but once deployed and powered up this thing can take out any target in a matter of seconds with flawless accuracy. the energy gun needs to recharge after each shot, making it a good defensive unit but a pretty terrible assault unit (unless properly coordinated).

cc welcome 8|

you could ask nicely, works just as well 8|

and no, it's supposed to deploy in various ways; hover mode, deployed mode and normal mode.

It reminds me quite a bit of the Leviathan from UT3, due to that BFG it has :P
