And yes, I've found a way to prevent the nasty "forcefire" bug.
EDIT: This is NOT the final model!

I suggest you make it walk more like an AT-AT.

Btw the forcefire "bug" is not a bug, it's a feature.

Three Titan configs, no, they are not upgraded from a base model, they are bough each as a different unit.
Right to Left: Anti Air (FLAK cannon/SAM), Anti Vehicle (Heavy Railcannon), Assault (Quad Vulcan cannon).

umm... I don't see any reason why the inertia would make them break... sure, their legs are thin, so they would have to move very slowly and carefully, but I don't see why the inertia would be a devastating factor.
That said, I think what the others mean is that it looks a bit odd when it lifts both feet on one side simultaneously (at least I think it does). Well, elephants some time walk with both feet on one side in the air at one time, but they don't lift both feet at once... they lift the second one only shortly before they put the first one down.

And here is Nod's new SW, the Blue Tiberium missile.

I might have misunderstood what you meant, so I just want to clear things up... people use the word inertia both in the sense of momentum and inertial mass.
I thought you meant momentum, which is why I said it didn't make sense (why would momentum destroy a walker anyway?).
Assuming you're refering to the mass, you should really use the word mass instead of inertia... inertial mass (the object's resistance to change in velocity) and gravitational mass (um... basicly the weight of the object) are not nesecarilly (but assumed to be) the same thing.
I can't see how the resistance to acceleration would destroy a walker, so it all comes down to gravitational mass, which I would agree could destroy a walker (too heavy for it's legs)...
but gravitational mass is not directly connected to inertia.
Anyway, sorry for going offtopic.
The blue tiberium missile looks quite nice, but unless you're going to make an extremely good texture, I'd say it needs a some more detail.
