[Overdose]

Greetings ROTR fans. The next round is enabled but before you post let me tell you that this thread has changed drastically. The game has become far more tactical and realistic now. The game also has rules which are attached to this post. We're taking applications for the people that decide to join us. Only post if you are genuinely interested in playing. Spam will not be tolerated and it will be deleted.

Okay-dokay. It's time we got things rolling again here and there's been a few pretty major shake-ups since the last attempt. In fact this should probably be considered Round 3, Take 2 because, as you'll see, I've got rid of all the posts and reset completely from last time, and I'm now the Game Master. With that in mind, I'd ask everyone to re-apply for their positions, except for Generals, who I'll select (if you have a particularly burning desire to be a General, I'm not stopping you from putting it down, but apply for other ranks first and tell me why you think you should get a General post afterwards).
I'll be making a few tweaks to the basic rule set over the next few days while people get their applications in and the whole thing is sorted out, and I'll probably be making a dedicated Wiki section so that people have an easy point of reference. Other than that, start writing, and good luck!

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE ROLE-PLAYERS ***

I've just updated the rule set, so please review it carefully. Hopefully there is less room for misinterpretation now. You'll also note that a number of the powers have been slowed down considerably to prevent the game accelerating like a runaway train from day 1.

I wouldnt mind being one of the Commanders, ECA perferably though.

Actually, I am reading the rules right now. (by the time any of you read this, I will have understood). I will adhere to said rules.

It sounds awesome (like the cnc global conquest mode, except rpg style)!

Figure this is as good a time as any to stop lurking.
1) Since the commander positions are the only ones open I'll take a Russian commission.
2) I wouldn't say to no to an alternative position.
3) Read and understood. Have no doubt I'll be sticking to them.

5) I'm currently going through a craze for all things Russian, and figure this is a good way to become active on the forums.
