Irrelevant. The mechanism was specifically designed to enhance a starship's hull integrity in emergency situations. You just enhanced this aircraft's hull stability and structural integrity to that of a NX-class.

We are on a thirty degree up pitch, and is heading towards outside atmosphere. Life support is failing, and we lost pitch control, but the emergency force field is holding, and we still have five hours of oxygen left.

You are depositing all the fuel to the right engine, which although can yaw the plane towards the starboard side, but will also make the aircraft stall. We can possibly stop the aircraft from rising, but not when it is stalling or falling.

David *struggles to move the plane to the right* I know the problem! We need to heat up the rudder I think the hydrolic fluids froze. We need it immediately were dropping really fast.

If you did not know, the warp core caused some hull pieces to fall down and struck the horizontal stabilizer, knocking pitch control offline. The hydraulics are working fine.
