Prepositional Poems
Into the Darkness
Into the darkness
Along the ravine
Under the branches of a tree unseen
Through his eyes
Below the world amid
He sees but nothing besides his eyelid.
Below the Skies
Below the skies
Under the heavens
Into the world and into reality
Before the end
After the beginning
We stand and chat without even caring.
Personal Poems
The Cycle
As the end approaches, the end of an eternity, I bask in the knowingness of a break ahead. The crisp, burning fire of sunlight is the signal for this declining pressure. Finally, the mindless walking of halls and the shouts and lectures of the everyday life of the youth is to halt for a quick rest. The cycle shall continue, but that single, happy time of freedom known as summer vacation, will ease the troubles of us all so that we may find ourselves back in the loop with a fresh start yet again.
The Let-Down
We all know the feeling of failure, the feeling of fleeting self-esteem. When our life seems to be in such a mess, we look to one another for help and receive not a spot of relief. The burden of life squashes us like a bug, however, nobody does a thing about it. There IS nothing to do about it either. Life goes on so quit with your complaining and pick it up like the rest of us.
The Extra Mile
The extra mile is just this when it counts for nothing, an extra mile. Something that requires extra work and extra effort to achieve nothing until it actually is worth running. However, when that time comes, it is no longer an extra mile, but a necessary stretch toward the future. This may sound to many like laziness, but it is perfect logic. There is no need to run further when there is nothing waiting for you at the end of the road. Wait for the road to be built before moving on when you are not sure which way it will turn.

Here’s to the Soldiers
Here’s to the soldiers
Who fought overseas
To fight a war
That would not soon cease.
Many hath lived
Many hath died
While battling out
A nation’s divide
Here’s to the soldiers
Who never returned
Remember them dearly
As you should well have learned
They fought for the freedoms
Of an unstable nation
And now they need you
Your heart’s orientation.
Another Time
Another time so long ago
People have walked fearlessly to and fro.
Worriless times are of the past.
We must fix this issue fast.
Destiny
We strive for excellence
We do anything for fame
Eternal glory
Is a never-dying flame
We wish to be remembered
We want to decide our fates
But we will never know what we’ll get
Because our destiny still awaits
Till Death
Till death do you part
But why stop there?
I will love you still
Even as we are nothing but air

George W.
George W. Bush
What a piece of mush!
He made his administration
To be an abomination!
Saddam Hussein
Poor and stupid Saddam Hussein
He made himself out to look insane
Found in a hole outside a city
Boy must he have felt so much self pity.
Al Gore
Al Gore
What a bore!
He never really got things right
He couldn’t even put up a fight.
Couplets
Whoosh!
The paw went “Whoosh!” as it sailed through the air.
The fly splattered all over that grizzly bear.
Jump for Joy!
Jump for joy, John has just fled.
Fear the furry friend of John for he is named Fred!
Howling Wind
The wind howled as it passed under the open door of the plane.
The paratroopers let their chutes open into the attacking rain.
Screech
He screeched like a canary as the doctor gave him a shot.
His brother, on the other hand, began to throw up in a pot.
Crocodile Tears
As he rode the roller coaster, he cried crocodile tears.
He wasn’t forced to ride it, he wanted to for thirty-one years.

Idiom Poem
Back-Seat Driver
Back seat drivers are never welcomed
They are useless and distracting
Make sure you stay away from them
Or rude comments you could be attracting.
Word Box Poem
Lonely Lies:
Lonely lies seep from your lips, lies that mean nothing to you but everything to me.
You speak these false truths without a care, while I am left thinking
Sadly, for a long time, I have trusted your words
But now I know better, I know better than to trust your untrue speaking.
Lonely lies leave me to rot
But I did not know they were lies till now
But now I see the truth, the lies
How could you do this? How?
I cannot forgive you
I cannot forget
Get away from me now
I am so full of regret.
You are a liar
You are a coward
You built me up and broke me down
You deserve not to take another step forward.
And yet here I am alone and depressed
And yet there you are and you couldn’t care less
Please, do not cause me more strife.
Get out right now, get out of my life.
All by yours' truly.
