I agree with you. Zero Hour is getting pretty dated right now. I'd love to see some other projects here.

As far as I could tell, SWR mods were still the significant draw this forum had. Without it, what's the point of coming here?

Indeed. The results were a little varied, but currently the consensus is that the major draw this has for the members is the community, and not the mods.

How active this forum is is more or less directly proportionate to how active ShW is, you know.
Now that the google searches for "Shockwave zero hour" aren't pointing here, I wonder how things will be.

Fallout Studios will continue to grow, and though SWR brought most of us here, including myself, rest assured that the leadership has plans that will ensure that the community built up here does not suffer as a result of this departure. There may be a temporary lull in the registration of new members, but I am confident that with time Fallout Studios can again flourish as a home for the creativity and independence of its members in a range of projects and interest areas.

Some more indie gaming projects would be great I reckon.

I had some comments/questions, now that I actually got SW (and several other mods) finally working today.
But I guess I can save them for the new forums...
Oooo, just thought of another question on top of that (lowers hand)... I can wait. heh.

As to myself, I'm kind of torn between worlds, but will visit both as if no splitting ever happened.

When was the last time Shockwave updated?
I didn't even follow the SWR mods so this split/whatever you want to call it really won't affect me either way.
