However, this reveal trailer tells us zero about the game itself :|

It does start to tell, or at least provide a teaser, as to the direction of the game, which is what a trailer is supposed to do: draw interest.

EDIT: So I just watched the thing on YouTube, indeed it's sort of boring, but I see EA is putting much effort into cinematics, which may be a bad thing. Good cinematics can't save shit gameplay, but at least it's something. Story is still too whacked for me, I mean, Kane allying with GDI? Isn't a Tiberium-infested world his dream or something?

First of all, your reply make me look like I'm a troll/fanboy that keeps whining about how good this game is and that everyone else is wrong and should die for even thinking different then I. Next time, don't do that please. I already try to post as least as possible in these threads to not look like a fanboy (which I ain't btw).
Anyways, let me explain why I made that reply. In all C&C4 discussions on the forums I visit I see almost everyone is acting like it's the worst game ever. I know everyone may have his own opinion, but I hate it when with every bit of news they say 'OMG THIS IS THE SUCK EA MADE IT!!!!!11', flooding the whole thread with anti-EA/C&C4 posts.
As said, I already try to keep out of this kind of topics because I know ppl will respond like this, but come one, the reply of Wizard with 'let's make an C&C4 boycott' is way too much. Okay, you don't like the game, but as an Admin I suspect a little better behaviour from him then posts like these. When do they remember the game is still in production and stuff can change?
Also, try and see it from the other side: when you like the game and keep seeing all those negative, you ain't happy. It gets even better when you say you like the game, and get replies like you made.

Anyways, I know this reply won't help one fucking bit, because humanity likes to whine about everything these days.

Boycotting is just the grouping up of people who do not want to buy it, so it's the same anyway.

I liked the trailer quite a lot. But, what the f*ck, why are they carrying P-90s?

I really liked the trailer a lot, especially the atmosphere was excellent. However, *pulls out a bullet-prove west* being the resident nit-picker, I have to say *puts on a kevlar helmet* that Kane sucks *activates an iron curtain*. It's all dark and non-shiny and gritty and cool and then he pulls down his hood and gives his usual, cartoon-like Brothers 'N Sisters speech and fumbles around with a plasma lamp (aka the Tacitus) as if it were a Poke-Ball. Argh, I really hope they kill him off.

That piece looks quite nice. It's a pity that it doesn't give any information on gameplay, but maybe if they make a good storyline, it'd be worth it. Also, note the completely anachronistic P90 .

Hey, look on the bright side. This cinematic beats Tiberium Wars' and Kanes Wrath's ass by a hundredfold!.

The cinematic looked much more serious then TW and KW.

Also the build system EA has chosen for C&C4 better damn well have a good and believable backstory.

I thought Kane went to Ascension or whatever in CNC3.so..he ascended and came back to Manchester?

Yeah, let's boycott ALL games with boring reveal trailers!

I liked that trailer, its clearly a teaser and they did it well. Must of been lots of fun making it
