James as i have know him was a very kind and good persons always trying to do the best for everyone and altho the time i got to truely know him was short i can tell he had a bright future ahead of himself and not to long ago he was telling me how he was glad he got accepted at his first ever job.
He was a great and valuable member of both Fallout Studios and SWR Productions and did many great contributions to both.
You will be missed dearly James.
May you rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to his family and real life friends. They have lost someone very special.
There is a hole here now that can never be filled and we will be much the worse for it. However I am comforted to see what an impact he had on those in the community and quite touched by the kind responses that I know would've made James proud to be a member.

James' kind personality and attitude made him a friend to everybody, even to those who did not know him at all. He will be missed by everybody.
Rest in Peace, my fellow writer.

When I'm alone
I dream on the horizon
And words fail;
Yes, I know there is no light
In a room where the sun is not there
If you are not with me.
At the windows
Show everyone my heart
Which you set alight;
Enclose within me
The light you
Encountered on the street.
Time to say goodbye,
To countries I never
Saw and shared with you,
Now, yes, I shall experience them,
I'll go with you
On ships across seas
Which, I know,
No, no, exist no longer;
With you I shall experience them.
When you are far away
I dream on the horizon
And words fail,
And yes, I know
That you are with me;
You, my moon, are here with me,
My sun, you are here with me.
With me, with me, with me,
Time to say goodbye,
To countries I never
Saw and shared with you,
Now, yes, I shall experience them,
I'll go with you
On ships across seas
Which, I know,
No, no, exist no longer;
With you I shall re-experience them.
I'll go with you
On ships across seas
Which, I know,
No, no, exist no longer;
With you I shall re-experience them.
I'll go with you,
I with you.
Good bye CommanderJB...

kudos to Pasidon for this awesome avvy and siggy!

Rest in peace, James. You were always a reasonable person and you will be sorely missed.
Hope you folks don't mind me using your avatar, I just feel like I need to do something to show my sympathy.

Rest in peace JB. You still owe me a lagless game of Shockwave... someday we'll play it.

AJ is responsible for this signature masterpiece... if you see him, tell him I say thanks.

Our family have been shocked and devastated beyond comprehension, and I feel for every single one of you who knew him: I have been grieving with my family ever since we were told the battle was lost on Saturday evening.
Although James was not a loud or a proud person, he was incredibly, awesomely strong. His strength of purpose and conviction, and an unshakeable sense of right and wrong made James a voice of truth, fairness and reason to so many people who will never forget him. Facing the world in his own quiet, controlled way, he rarely showed the torrent of compassion, purpose and sensitivity that drove him: but those who knew him were touched by his steadfast, gentle power nonetheless.
I have never known an individual that was so sensitive and understanding, yet who stood more solid than anyone for the Light and the Truth. We will always remember the calm, reassuring companionship that he gave us, and for me, eighteen years worth of joy, brotherhood, laughter - and being smugly outwitted time and again - will be treasured always.
It is, however, incredibly encouraging to know that - even as you read this- at least seven people around the country are currently able to owe their own very precious lives to my brother: through the miracle of organ donation. As James' death was a brain-death, and his body was on life-support, he was in a very good position to be able to help other people in this way. We know it is what he would have wanted, and we now know that even more people are indebted to James, and that these people who owe him their lives will be eternally grateful to him.
I know how terrible it is to find out news via a newspaper, email or written, impersonal message - I have tried my best to reach as many people as possible, yet news travels faster than I can physically move... and so although I would want to talk to you myself, I must send you this, along with my heartfelt sympathies for what you must be going through - I know it well.
My best wishes for you in this incredibly difficult time,
Alex Brown

I only had a few changes to talk to James on msn, but for those few times that I did see him and from what he had done with us at our mod teams, he showed everyone his steadfast dedication, kindness, compassion to all of those he had met and talked to.
He was one of those great individuals who would had changed the world in his own way, I'm sure of it.
James, you will truly be missed. May you rest in Peace.

At first, I told myself that this had to be a joke...I couldn't believe that he had died from falling down the stairs, and just over a month from his 18th birthday at that. It truly feels as if the world has been robbed of a great individual. We'll miss him as the community manager of the RoTR mod.
My condolences to his family and friends. Resquiescat in pace.

CommanderJB is someone we should all look up to, and his sudden death came as a shock to me. At first I was in a state of denial and thought AJ was kidding, but it was true sadly. Life must still go on. The forums will mourn your death, and through your humbleness and wisdom, and I with a heavy heart will mourn your death. This is not something that happens every day, or in most forums.
Goodbye CommanderJB, Commander James R Brown. Goodbye friend, colleague and mentor.
