That CC looks amazing, and the factory upgrade is both original and well modelled. Nevertheless, I'd simplify your tech tree if I were you. If you look at a mod like Mid East Crisis 2, each faction has only a few buildings each. Crucially, this means that the bulk of work can be done in a reasonable length of time. I still think you're biting off a bit more than you can chew starting another TC mod, but you could at least make your prospects of finishing a bit better by simplifying your factions (at least until you can release a beta or something.). Be realistic in your plans.

In this mod, the Tech tree is controlled by the secret protocol list (which is why i had to cut the 4th faction[you can't make new protocol lists, just edit the existing ones}).

The different coloured arrows indicate a different tech level.
Also, between each tech level in the protocol list is another item (not decided on what yet), so tech climbing is extended even further.

I've been thinking of making Airships Tech 2.

My point was I reckon you have too many buildings planned - too much work for a small team that is unable to even skin anything yet.
