Well, I followed everything here, and I posted what tanks I'll have upon launch and posted my WoT name into the thread, so I think I'm set.

I'd love to game, but sadly, homework calls. And in all honesty, I'd rather not think about my beloved tanks that are going to vaporize in 2 hours. (I only was able stomach one game with my brand new GW Tiger, It's SO DAMN SLOW. Oh). Oh IS, KV, and GW Panther, I will miss thee.

I'm losing my IS-4, IS-3, IS-2, ISU-152, King Tiger, Tiger I, Jadgpanther (just got the 105mm!), T29, M4A3E8, and M4 (really going to miss the Sherman twins). An estimated 2700 games worth of work, and now they will disappear. Ah well, perhaps in a clan atmosphere, tanks will come a bit easier.

Indeed, I'm losing 2950's battles worth of tanks, with the top tiers being GW-Tiger, Panther II, IS-3, ISU-152, T-34, M4, and S-51.

I've technically bought the game, so I think I'll be able to stomach the loss a bit better, espcially since I see myslef cruising in the KV-5 soon.

Hopefully you don't need premium to join the clan, or else that would be horrible.

Tbh, i'm not gonna pay for gold unless they finally fix the spotting system, with the romulan soviet TDs just cruising at full speed 100m in front of you and they can't be seen.

I tried Cory's (clanmate's) Object 704, and i know exactly what the other side of the fence is like now, where i normally play i feel the grass is on fire, with no suit, while in the TDs, i get handed a fireproof suit and an oxygen tank. (then handed a shotgun and told go nuts)

Yeah, i know they did, we were hurting then, and still hare hurting for members, need to bulk up for clanwars and such.

American TDs also delayed till after launch (approx 2 weeks after at the earliest)

There goes my preferred line of tanks delayed yet again...

Side note: Gonna play to get easy8, then probably work my way down a heavy tree, not sure which yet. (prob IS-7 line, liking the speed advantage more than nigh-invincible (albeit spotty) armor lately)

Well, if the Obyekt 704 is the firesuit + O2 tank + shotgun + license to go insane, then:

SU-152 = shotgun
ISU-152 = shotgun + license to go insane

I got about 110k away from the Obyekt and with the wipe closing in, I'm not going to be able to get it.....yet. I will have the Obyekt, I MUST have it.

if you can get it, it'd be worth it, too bad servers go down in ~35 mins. i'd love to play. Might get the 704 to tide me over till i can get into an M10, M36 and a T95.

Hey, I'd love to be in Triple Entente as well although I'm only free on weekends and usually late at night :(

thought imo, I never grew to a liking to the ISU-152. Don't even know why, because apparently I do quite well in it, and it one-shots mediums comically often; I guess it's just not my style (plus it's a big money-loser).

Nah, it's too close to the hard wipe, and I gave up on it yesterday. Ah well, there's always after the hard wipe.

I'm not too fond of it myself, but it is the last stepping stone before the Obyekt 704, so it's a necessary evil I guess, lol. At one point I desperately wanted the ISU-152, and with the addition of the Obyket, all of that desire flew out the window. The Obyekt just flat out kills it in performance, looks, and fear factor. The Obyekt is the beast every TD wishes it was.

Yep, 704s are prettty scary. Most of the time you just die spontaneously because a 704 decided, in the darkness of a shrub somewhere, that your time had come.

It is a right shame that I have to go to work tomorrow, otherwise I'd be getting a head start on earning some tanks. It'll be nice to play in the low(er) tiers for a change. Beats having to slug it out in a tier 5 vehicle against tier 7's and 8's (though my M4 didn't seem to mind....)

Yes, I realise I didn't really get as far as many others despite how long I played. But then managing 547 battles only on weekends is still something. Hence also why my highest tier tank was the 85. However, it was my only ambition in the game to just get it. Just that it's my fav tank of the era.

547 battles isn't bad, all things considered mate. I managed 300 matches a month, since I started playing last July, although that number is probably higher considering I got enough games in to get a VK3601(H) before the softwipe. According to someone in game, 2700 games means I have "no life". O_o I find that interesting considering the time span, but whatever. If it takes me another 9 months to gain all but two of my favourites back, then that's how long it takes.

So do I go on the forum to let them know I wish to join or is there another way?

Edit: Also seems we will have to friend eachother again in the game.

Where's this application topic? Because I've posted my WoT-name and my at-launch tank roster, but I've never stumbled across an applicaiton form anywhere. :S
