Gilgamesh's Photo Gilgamesh 31 Jul 2009

WOW Command & Conquer Generals 2 eh?

I hope my computer can handle that kind of game, because games nowadays requires a power computer and my computer is like Pentium III or like AMD Sempron 2400+ T_T

I can't wait to take a play on that game, so excited i can't wait to play it...

Unfortunatly i belive will take long time to EA create C&C Generals II. They are fu***ing with C&C 4 first...I personaly don't belive that with Generals II will be different.

Oh men, i thought they going to make first command and conquer generals 2 but instead they make C&C 4 so be it that way.

There's nothing we can do no matter how much they received many request about create command and conquer generals 2 first then C&C 4, well it is up to them. So let's just wait and see and besides there's some plenty of years or months to wait...

The speculation was that the announced CNC4 game would instead be generals 2, but it wasn't so there won't be any announcement anytime soon.

Let's just hope they don't use RNA Engine if they plan to make Gens 2 someday, or else it sure will be different (and not mod-friendly...)

Well, for what i'm seeign, RNA is far more friendly tham Updated SAGE(C&C3)

It's pretty much the same in terms of modability.

Harder to learn but better results/more potential?

Indeed, the only one that succeeded is MidEast Crisis for C&C, all the others doesn't change the universe :likey:

Uh, no? Both use pretty much the same SDK, the only difference is basically the modules of each game - while RA3 gained some more, it also lost some essential ones from CNC3.

If Generals II were developed in RNA, what could we expect? C&C4 already is using and "updated" RNA [ http://gamesmodding....-design-updates ]. I don't think they'll create another engine for Generals II.

BTW C&C with pop cap limit, another EA Fail.

C&C always had a population cap, you just havent noticed it.

By the way it doesnt seem so bad because in a screenshot we see it being 600 which is upgradeable.

I'll rename this to "Generals II speculation"

it would be lol when, in a week/month or 2, generals 2 is released without any PR shit or any announcing screenshots or stuff, and that EA is developing it in a bunker, without internet, TV, telephone or radio, so nothing can leak. and then one day they walk out and tell here sir. we have the 5 million copys of generals 2 u asked us for.

Am I the only one that finds the attitude of all the C&C media towards Kane really, really annoying? They keep on bullshitting with stuff like "Kane lives!" as if the man is a bloody religion. I don't give a toss that they have the same actor to do FMV sequences, I want to find out more about the damn game, and it would be better if I could do that without having role play crap rammed down my throat. It's a ridiculous character for a villain anyway - I'd much rather something more plausible like a general of a world superpower or renegade military group, rather than a bunch of religious terrorists who somehow have the power to take on the entire world's armies in open warfare.

Oh, how I missed that, so true, although I think Kane is a fine character but still he is not cool enough for necromancing a million times, as it contains a bit of religious terms, it could be better if they do him Anti-Christ like, a dictator but people love him still since his charisma and wisdom.
GLA is just very cool side and it brings too much possibilities, instead of only seeing two country declaring war againist each other and you play to destroy that country, but GLA wants to destroy every other fuking country, which makes them so cool :xD:

Umm what...?

Indeed GLA is quite cool, just that they use junk that are too old to be called junk, they are more like antiques. GLA should get late cold war-era tecnology, I reckon, and add some terrorism and militants into it and you get a nice faction.

TBH I think it's interesting why EA have never dealt with GenII. It was a popular game and has a life much longer than most others. They are a business and businesses do not pass up opportunities to make money, which is something that GensII would most certainly do. There must be a reason for it having not been made already....

Just throwing this out here but Kane and Nod ARE Religious (sort of) Remember Cain, Seth and Lazarus (sp?) Infact Kane quotes a piece out of the Bible in C&C3.

Back on topic though, Junk weapons might be old but they can be improved/effective.
